After being together for a while, Sedef and Alper want to crown their relationship with marriage. However, when Alper goes with his family to ask for Sedef’s hand in marriage, Sedef’s grandfather, retired Colonel İskender, learns that the prospective groom paid to avoid mandatory military service and refuses to give permission for their marriage.
